As we near the end of school and head into the summer… I want you to tell me one thing you liked about YADA this year and why. Was it an activity, the meetings, doing a special project, meeting someone new…. what? Why did you enjoy it so much?
I really liked having meeting every few weeks. I also liked how Marty came in and talked to us about online safety. It was very interesting to see my facebook but also made me change my account to private. He taught me a grea lesson and I really appreciate it. I think YADA is one of my favorite groups that I’m involved with.
It taught me to choose the right people to hang with and not the wrong people. I have also learned that it is a very big deal to change profiles from public to private. Also I can’t wait for next years yada group and meet with new people that also want and choose to be alcohol and drug free just like this years yada group.
Great Job Darcy and Kerri. I am so glad I have great youth in YADA. You two make my job a lot easier knowing that I can count on you two to keep others in line as well as yourselves. I hope I get the chance to see you this summer!

Something I enjoyed this year was the blogs and how our number of members grew from last year to this year. I liked the blogs because your free to ask other members for advice and they most likely respond. I also liked how at our lunch meetings we had only two of us Laura and I so the meetings didn’t take very long at all. Thats what i liked most about yada this year.

My favorite thing about YADA this year was probably the 5th Quarter. It was really fun to be with your friends who feel the same about drugs as you do. It was a lot of fun having paper airplane races. YADA was really fun and I’m really glad that I joined and I will continue being in it. Have a good Summer everyone!!

Great… I am glad you like the environmental scan meetings. I think it is interesting to see peoples faces when you present to them!

It is nice to have just a few people so you have time to make decisions but get done early enough to clear your trays or lunch boxes.

My favorite thing all year was the Red and White Game. It was so fun meeting new kids and going on to the Husker feild. I can’t wait till next year, but I hope more Auburn youths come cause we had a amazing time. I really enjoyed this group of YADA youths and I really love our leader Kaliey she is so fun to spend time with.
i have really really enjoyed this group it has been a great expirence and it has helped me understand what has become a normal enviorment that shouldnt be and i have had a great time meeting other students from diffrent group standing by my side pledging to be drug and alcohol free.
Thanks kayleigh for having me a part of your youth group i look forward to next year……
